Please join us for an insightful discussion on market classification, which aims to reflect the international investment community's views and practices by striking a balance between a country's economic development and the accessibility of its market while preserving index stability. We will also discuss the upcoming reclassification of the MSCI Kuwait Indexes from Frontier Markets status to Emerging Markets.

Eurex, who has recently added the MSCI GCC Index and the MSCI Kuwait futures to their total MSCI suite of 136 futures, will join the discussion with MSCI to tackle the following questions:

  • Why did Eurex launch MSCI futures?
  • Who are the market participants?
  • How and why trade these futures?

Speakers:

  • Robert Ansari, Head of the Middle East Client Coverage Team, MSCI
  • Pavlo Taranenko, Executive Director, MSCI Research, MSCI
