With this Newsflash, we would like to inform you about specific legal opinions Eurex Clearing AG (Eurex Clearing) provides for download in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group.
All available legal opinions are prepared at the request of Eurex Clearing so that the legal opinions constitute a legal advice only with respect to Eurex Clearing and do not constitute any legal advice with respect to any Clearing Member, ISA Direct Clearing Member, FCM Clearing Member, Direct Client or Indirect Client.
The legal opinions shall not be relied upon by any Clearing Member, ISA Direct Clearing Member, FCM Clearing Member, Direct Client or Indirect Client and cannot substitute the receipt of own legal advice.
Rather, the legal opinions shall only serve information purposes.
For further information on the legal opinions, Eurex Clearing published a “FAQ” (frequently asked questions) document on the topic of legal opinions. With respect to the applicable own funds requirements for transactions cleared via Eurex Clearing, Eurex Clearing also published an overview presentation on the exposure calculation and the applicable risk weights under CRR. Both documents can also be found for download in the Member Section under the following path:

Please note: Users have to accept a general non-reliance language before being able to access the legal opinions.
Access to the Member Section:
In order to access the legal opinions via the Member Section of Eurex Clearing, a respective Member Section login needs to be available. Login data for the Central Coordinator are being provided by Eurex Clearing during the onboarding process of a Clearing Member.
