Eurex Clearing
1. Introduction
This circular introduces editorial amendments to the Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG (Clearing Conditions) as well as clarifications with regard to certain references in Appendix 7 to the Clearing Conditions (Pledge Agreement relating to pledges of Eligible Margin Assets in the form of Securities). The editorial amendments and clarifications shall increase reader friendliness of the document and ensure consistency with the Clearing Conditions.
The amendments do not change the meaning or the scope of the pledges granted under Appendix 7 to the Clearing Conditions.
Effective date: 7 September 2020
2. Required action
There is no action required. Pledge Agreements that have previously been executed are not required to be re-executed.
3. Details
Certain editorial amendments to the Clearing Conditions as well as clarifications with regard to certain references in Appendix 7 to the Clearing Conditions (Pledge Agreement relating to pledges of Eligible Margin Assets in the form of Securities) shall increase reader friendliness of the document and ensure consistency with the Clearing Conditions.
The amendments do not change the meaning or the scope of the pledges granted under Appendix 7 to the Clearing Conditions.
To implement the changes, the following provisions will be amended as outlined in the Attachment:
The amendments to the Clearing Conditions will become effective on 7 September 2020.

The changes and amendments to the legal framework of Eurex Clearing AG published by this circular are deemed accepted by each affected contractual party of Eurex Clearing AG, unless the respective contractual party objects by written notice to Eurex Clearing AG within the first fifteen (15) Business Days after publication. Any ordinary right of Eurex Clearing AG to terminate the respective contract (including a Clearing Agreement, if applicable) shall remain unaffected.
Unless the context requires otherwise, terms used and not otherwise defined in this circular shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Clearing Conditions or FCM Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG, as applicable.
