Eurex OTC Clear

Eurex Clearing provides the same innovative clearing services for over-the-counter, or wholesale, products as we do for exchange-traded contracts via the Eurex OTC Clear facilities. With us, OTC market participants have the chance to mitigate counterparty risk and simultaneously benefit from our seamless post-trade management.

We offer clearing services for trades executed on Eurex's Wholesale Trading facilities. As in the derivatives clearing model, when off-order book transactions are executed, Eurex Clearing automatically becomes the central counterparty between the parties to the transaction.

The Eurex Wholesale Trading facilities enable participants to enter OTC trades in the Eurex® system in order to benefit from the flexibility of customized trading as well as standardized clearing and settlement.

Most OTC Trade Entry facilities are purely OTC, and support bilateral agreement of price and quantities. However, Block Auction Requests also facilitate the fully anonymous price discovery and counterparty search for large size trades. The new Multilateral Trade Registration Facility supports pre-negotiated OTC trading with multiple counterparties.
