Eurex Repo Clearing License

We are the Clearing House for the entire suite of products traded at Eurex Repo. A Eurex Repo Clearing License authorizes Members to clear their own and customer business executed on the Eurex Repo platform. The license to clear at Eurex Clearing gives you access to some of the world's most liquid products.

The Eurex Repo environment offers two different markets. In the GC Pooling repo market, collateral can be turned into cash swiftly and directly, while the Special Repo segment offers a market for single securities trading.

GC Pooling:

Since March 2005, Eurex Repo offers Euro GC Pooling® as a cash-driven general collateral segment. Three baskets are available at this stage:

GC Pooling ECB Basket: More than 8,000 securities (Eurobonds and major European bonds) can be traded and may also be used as collateral for refinancing within the framework of ECB open market transactions. Cash providers can as well re-use the received collateral from the GC Pooling ECB Basket as margin collateral towards Eurex Clearing. The GC Pooling ECB basket can be traded against Euro and US Dollar.

GC Pooling EXTended basket: More than 22,000 securities (Eurobonds, major European bonds and bank bonds) are available for trading. This basket is available for trading against Euro.

GC Pooling Equity basket: The top 50 equities by turnover of the HDAX are available for GC Pooling transactions. Should not enough equities be available, securities eligible for the GC Pooling ECB basket can exceptionally be used to backfill the missing exposure. The GC Pooling Equity basket can is available for trading against Euro.

Euro Market:

The Euro Market is a securities driven collateral segment. The eligible products can be traded as individual ISINs and partly as a GC basket.

• KfW (Kreditanstadt fur Wiederaufbau)/Laender Bonds
• European Covered Bonds
• Agency Bonds (EIB, CADES)
• European Corporate Bonds
