Leveraged Membership and Easy Market AccessSignificant synergies can be achieved by Eurex members that trade via the Eurex/ISE Link as they can utilize their existing clearing infrastructures. They also can take advantage of cross margining between Eurex and ISE products as well as re-use existing collateral to cover risk exposure in options traded at the ISE. For members, clearing trades that are executed via the Eurex/ISE Link is no different than clearing derivatives traded at Eurex. The Eurex/ISE Link offers an integrated Eurex Clearing/OCC solution, facilitating market entry. Eurex Clearing maintains an account at the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) in order to act as an associated clearing house for those Eurex members trading via the Eurex/ISE Link.
