LDX IRS Constant Maturity Futures

LDX IRS Constant Maturity Futures backed by Eurex

Since August 2015 we together with LDX are offering a EUR-denominated IRS Constant Maturity Futures (CMF) – an innovative solution that brings the benefits of futures trading closer to OTC products, while delivering the efficiencies of centralized order execution, standardized central clearing and effective hedging of interest rate exposure.

LDX IRS Constant Maturity Futures are based on the Interest Rate Swap Index Average (IRSIA) and accurately tracks interest rate exposure at each point of the yield curve by removing the maturity date and marking the contract to market against an IRSIA Constant Maturity Index on a daily basis. This means you can manage exposure without a constant need to re-adjust, maintaining the liquidity of a given maturity from 2 to 30 years.

The product trades on LDX's platform. Each trade is then transferred through Eurex Trade Entry Services to be cleared by Eurex Clearing.

It’s a unique solution aligned to established IRS market economics while optimizing Eurex’s interest rate product suite of listed contracts based on the whole EUR-denominated yield curve – listed fixed-income derivatives, Euro-Swap Futures, the new Eurex/LDX CMF – all centrally cleared by Eurex Clearing.
