Eurex Energy (EEX) Clearing License
Since 2007, Eurex Exchange, the European Energy Exchange (EEX), Eurex Clearing and European Commodity Clearing (ECC) have been co-operating in energy trading.
The product cooperation allows both Eurex Trading Participants and Clearing Members to leverage their memberships and use their existing infrastructures for trading and clearing Eurex/EEX energy products.
ECC - the clearing house of the European Energy Exchange - is the primary clearing house for the cooperation products and also provides physical settlement services for the respective products.
Eurex Group owns a majority stake in EEX.
